About Us
Denise Waldron is a Chaplain in the Community Catholic Church of Canada and licensed to marry couples in Ontario.
While her face may not be familiar – Denise's voice and byline may be.
As a long time journalist, Denise’s work has appeared in newspapers and magazines. She is also a radio reporter on 91.9 Bob FM, Country 105 and Energy 99.7. Her stories are regularly picked up by the Canadian Press.
Denise received the Extraordinary Woman of Kawartha Lakes in Communication award from Women's Resources. The award is given to women who raise public awareness or improved communications about issues and needs for individuals, organizations or community initiatives.
When she is not digging for news stories you will find Denise on the local trials with her dog enjoying the beauty of Kawartha Lakes.
Denise is involved in many local charities. She volunteers as the chairperson for Habitat for Humanity Kawartha Lakes Community Awareness Team and also sits on the executive.
